Ameer Bukhsh is a Psychologist and Assistant Director at Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning. He is Honorary Research Fellow at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust and Project Manager of a large multi country GCRF-MRC funded South Asia Self Harm Initiative-SASHI project. He has successfully managed 11 clinical trials at PILL as a trial manager/Project coordinator & co-investigator during the last 6 years. He has a good experience in the field of research and has been published as well. His clinical and research interests are psychological medicine, mood disorders and self-harm and suicide prevention. He has strong interest in Global Mental Health and is member of global mental health and cultural psychiatry research group UK. He feels very strongly about research capacity and capability building in low and middle income countries.
