Prof.Nusrat Hussain Community Engagement in Gilgat Biltistan

Prof. Nusrat Husain and Dr. Meher Husain visited the Hasegawa Memorial Public School in Karimabad Village, Hunza, where they met with the school’s principal. During their visit, they toured the “AGAH WALIDEEN” Center, which is run by the Rupani Foundation to support mothers, children, and grandparents. The center also provides facilitation, awareness, and support for pregnant women.

Prof. Nusrat Husain and Dr. Meher Husain engaged in a discussion with parents about mental health, parenting, and the learning model used at the center. The Hasegawa Memorial Public School was established in March 1995, fulfilling the wishes of the late Tsunco Hasegawa, a Japanese climber who tragically lost his life in the mountains in October 1991. His vision was brought to life by his wife.
