Remedial Hospital Karachi

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and support research on the biological origins and mechanisms of psychiatric disorders, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Conduct clinical and translational research in biochemistry, focusing on the development and validation of biomarkers, drug targets, and therapeutic strategies.
• Perform biochemical analyses, including enzyme assays, protein purification, and metabolomics, in both clinical and laboratory settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, clinicians, and other research staff to design and implement experiments.
• Assist in preparing research publications, grant proposals, and academic presentations.
• Maintain laboratory protocols, safety standards, and accurate documentation of all experiments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with laboratory techniques such as chromatography, mass spectrometry, ELISA, and other biochemical assays.
• Proficiency in data analysis and laboratory management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in both clinical and academic settings, with strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
