Prof. Nusrat Husain and Dr. Meher Husain visited the Sharma Center and Hunar Kun, both operated by the Karakorum Area Development Organization (KADO). The center provides employment opportunities for individuals with special needs, who are engaged in traditional carpet weaving and local embroidery work. The Sharma Centre is a community-run and funded initiative that supports intellectually disabled men and women, offering them a chance to work, earn an income, and live with dignity. This initiative brings hope and independence to the less fortunate by empowering them through meaningful employment.
