CEIG PILL & BIPBS: Bridging Minds for Mental Health
The Community Engagement Involvement (CEI) group from the Ishrat Hussain Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL) recently had an online meeting with the Baluchistan Institute of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences (BIPBS). During the meeting, the CEI team introduced their objectives, vision, framework, and CEI model for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The session was organized by Workstream 5 of CEI as part of their dissemination activity with stakeholders.
Mian Atiq Ur Rehman and Ms. Farah Hassan delivered an interactive presentation of the CEI plan, which was received positively by BIPBS representative Dr. Jahanzeb Mehdi. Dr. Mehdi appreciated the innovative approach of CEI to community engagement and acknowledged it as a pioneering methodology. He expressed a keen interest in fostering future collaboration with CEI on community engagement projects and research, especially in the mental health sphere.
